NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 8

Application No. 1700/12

Proposed Motorway A1(M) Eastern Gateway

I give notice that Heinzmann Construction is applying to Yorkshire County Council for full Planning Permission for the construction of a new private public highway. The proposed seven lane motorway will form the link between the A1(M) near Thirsk to Whitby. Part of this 
construction will be the 800ft Rosedale Viaduct.

Members of the public are invited to a Public Consultation, where they may view copies of:

• the application
• the PFI involvement
• artists’ interpretation

in Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton-le-Hole at 7pm on Friday 15th June 2012.

Applications can also be viewed, tracked and commented on 
via http://easterngateway.blogspot.co.uk  Representations should be made to 
Planning Services within 21 days of this notice.

If further information is required, you will need to contact the planning officer dealing 
with the case.

  2. I'm concerned that there are no safe green crossing places for the Moors sheep included in the planning. Until this is rectified I cannot possibly offer any support for the proposed 7 lane motorway - a safety issue for sheep and humans alike.
